What have I read lately?

This is a question I am asked on a daily basis. So, I've decided that the best way to answer this query is to keep track of each book that I read and post it on this website. I started on July 11, 2006 and the list is a lot more cumbersome than I expected. But I am up to the challenge!

I had also planned to add a little blurb giving my opinion on each book, positive or negative. That is a little slower to get going. This working 7 days a week (and all that reading) keeps cutting into my web page updating time! So, starting in January 2007, I will try to say a little something about what I've read. Don't expect The New York Times Book Review or anything. However, if I don't, or if my list is a BIT out of date, that just means I've been too busy reading to write. That's easy to understand, right? As a way of apologizing for my lack of writing, I will occasionally show the UK version of a book's cover. They tend to be so much nicer looking. I'm often distracted by pretty or shiny objects and I hope you will be too.

Those who know me, know that I occasionally find myself lost at the end of the world. I'm talking about post-apocalyptic books. What came before "The Road". Before Oprah made the end days cool. Check out my list of
what to read when the world's population has been decimated, survivors are struggling to re-build after the apocalyptic event, and you have nothing but time to read!

Maybe this will motivate you to come into the store, or drop me an
email, to let me know what you've been reading!

Oh, by the way. Below is my Brother Cadfael Mysteries widget. The books were written in the 80’s and 90’s by Ellis Peters and it is quite possibly the greatest historical fiction series ever written and Brother Cadfael is THE most AWESOME 12th Century Benedictine Monk to ever wear a tonsure!
