Evolution
by Stephen Baxter
page24_12
I love Stephen Baxter's "Evolution" so much, I've read it three times.  "Evolution" recounts 565 million years of human evolution, from the remarkable perspective of a series of interrelated mammals. Beginning with tiny shrewlike mammals 65 million years in the past to the ultimate fate of humanity (and its descendants, both biological and non-biological) 500 million years in the future. If I could see our future, I think this could be it.
