Priority Mail
  • Items will typically be delivered in 2 - 4 business days.
  • Items may be shipped to a PO Box.
  • Delivery to APO/FPO addresses not available.
  • Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii may take longer.
  • Add $10 for Express Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii.

Next Day
  • Items will be delivered in 1 business day.
  • Delivery to P.O. Box addresses not available.
  • Delivery to APO/FPO addresses not available.
  • Add $15 for Next Day shipments to Alaska and Hawaii.
  • Add $7.00 for the first item for UPS Next Day Saturday delivery.
Additional Notes
  • To purchase insurance for USPS media and priority mail options, the
  • shipping rate will include an additional $2.00 fee. Insured orders
  • may be tracked and claims filed as needed for lost and damaged orders.
  • Gift wrapping is also available for new books we ship for $1.50 per book.
  • Shipping costs for certain oversized or heavy books or sets may be higher.
  • Out-of-print/hard to find books are shipped at cost; usually less than $5 per book. We will notify you of the shipping costs before shipping.
  • Please be aware that while the overwhelming majority of packages shipped via Media Mail arrive within 2-9 Days, with shipments within Oregon usually arriving within 2 days. In rare cases shipments can take up to 3 weeks to arrive. Media Mail shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, Puerto Rico and APO/FPO addresses can take 3 to 8 weeks to arrive.

Used Book and Store Credit Policy

TRADING YOUR USED BOOKS
Want to trade in some books for credit? We offer up to 25% of the paperback cover price (hardback percentage varies) in the form of in-store credit, which is good toward the purchase of any item in the store. We accept books we feel we can resell based on desirability, market value, in-print price, condition, and our current stock levels.

    WHAT WE DON'T ACCEPT
    With so many books in the world and our stock continually changing, it’s not possible to know what we’ll be interested in at any one time. However, there are several types of books we do not take:
    • Damaged books (including those which smell bad)
    • Family Bibles
    • Textbooks
    • Encyclopedia sets
    • Adult series westerns (Longarm, Lone Star, etc.)
    • Adult series romances(Loveswept, Harlequin, etc.)
    • Most book club editions
    • Magazines
    • Original software user's manuals
    • Reader’s Digest Condensed Books
    HOW WE EVALUATE YOUR BOOKS
    We will sort through your books and choose those we think we can sell. We will then call you and let you know the amount of store credit we can offer to you. If, in our research, we discover that a book is of significant value, we will contact you and give you the choice of receiving credit for the book or not. Books are priced and shelved shortly after the time of purchase; we do not wait for your "approval," nor do we keep an itemized list of which books we accept. Upon your approval, books that we do not want can be donated to our Bargain Books section. A portion (50%) of the proceeds from the sale of Bargain Books benefits our local Elementary school libraries. If you prefer, you can pick up any books we do not accept.

    USING STORE CREDIT
    Store credit can be used, for up to 50% of the sales total, to purchase anything we carry in the store. It cannot be used to pay for specially ordered out of print or hard
    to-find books.
